King's Bounty: Legions Preview for the PCPreview - Developers for Facebook games almost always have trouble convincing gaming sites to take their games seriously, especially during E3, when they compete against hundreds of titles on the show floor. I mean, Game Revolution does not have a section on Facebook at all, which I suppose makes us seem like unpleasant stings ... (Oh, should defend myself here?) The general idea is that despite all the excitement and money on Farmville, we Facebook games as, at best, bite-sized tracks on the conceptually fundamental side of the games that are more likely to view only popular because they are catchy - pop gaming genre to say it nicely. But if we see more games like King's Bounty: Legions, we can only our collective feet from our mouths.
Only at first glance contradict their works of art, world map and character animations of the Facebook platform. Even in beta, these legions of the King's Bounty variation series already translated determines the strategy of the celebrated RPG-adventure fans. The players need to build their army, amassing troops and gold through quests and conquests, to the right to rule the country (and preferably their Facebook friends as well). And did I mention that the game is played for free for a certain number of hours each day?
Building a team from a current list of the 32 units, players battle against each other on a hex-based grid to move, and attack opposing team, until one of them is victorious. Teams have slots for five units - two mortal, immortal and a two legendary - and players can a less powerful device in a stronger slot (say, an immortal in a legendary slot) increase rather than a large unit. A player of the crew weight, their leadership stat (effectively the level of the player) is determined, contributes to how many players from each unit that can be taken in the fight.
Casual gamers do not need to go into detail to bring the units where each unit contributes to the Location field in coverage, and how much each character's attributes to the fight, everything they need, have to know is how to make a on click enemy until he dies. But hardcore gamers have plenty of room to sink their teeth into, especially the pentagram of strengths and weaknesses of character between class types; defenders employ 30% more damage to warriors and the same goes for mages attacking defender.
Since the games against friends who are not level, restriction and not in the direction of an online rankings include (although I Nival that the winner would win a medal with the loser's face deserve suggested to them) are in contrast ranked matches automatically against opponents set virtually the same team weight. The focus of the multiplayer, though, is clear: no stamina cost PvE, but PvP. Facebook users with spare credits to their endurance (how many hours they can play, every day) or gain some gold and units, although Nival have made, that the player can not buy their way into victory.
