Nintendo Cuts 3DS Price  - Nintendo decided to slash the price of 3DS. The move is a response to the Japanese companies on the financial statements and the reported disappointing sales 3DS.

No half-hearted, the price of a handheld gaming device capable of three-dimensional (3D) was trimmed to 40 percent. This pruning will apply from August 12, 2011.

Quoted from GameSpot Asia on Friday (07/29/2011), as compensation policy, consumers who have purchased the handheld with an expensive price - before trimming, the 20 available games that can be downloaded for free.

Half of the games being released are part of the program 'Nintendo 3DS Ambassador' which will soon be available on Nintendo's eShop in the near future.

Nintendo 3DS is on sale in March last priced at USD 250 (about USD 2 million). Interestingly, according to observers, the production cost handheld console is just a cost of $ 101 (about USD 880 thousand) each.
