Dr. Alex McIntosh, a AGRILIFE research sociologist at the Texas A & M says, indulgent fathers allowing children more trips to fast food restaurants is brought to obesity in children here.
"Dads that mealtime is a special time with your family do not see certainly a fast food restaurant as a suitable place for this special time with your family to think this means that their children spend less time in the villages, " says McIntosh in a statement. "his Dad, who have no trouble eating at a fast food restaurant will be more children who do so."
The researchers had children write in a diary what they ate and whether at home or outside the home.
The study, published in The Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, found it was time fathers spent at fast food restaurants - not to mothers spent time there - that with the kids' time spent was found in a fast-food place.
The only examples of mothers are too lax about the use of fast-food those who are negligent and those who committed their work very, says McIntosh.
"Traditionally, academics have mothers for everything that goes wrong with the children, especially when it comes to food's fault, but I think it's pretty clear that fathers have a significant impact on what children have to eat, " he says.
