Kristen Stewart dons armor and wields a giant sword and shield for her next film. Rest assured, it will not be your mother and father's Snow White.
Stewart, along with other cast and crew Saturday at Comic-Con fan convention for a preview of the next year, "Snow White and the Huntsman", an action-packed version of the tale.
The "Twilight" star told a Comic-Con crowd, while the one sweet, traditional Snow White was not something "I was jumping on." What drew them was that this Snow White was a courageous leader with their feet firmly on the ground.
"Even I, a sword, and so have got," Stewart said. "Really cool weapons."
The film is due out in June next year and is coming from two "Snow White" films Hollywood has. The other reason out in March next year, Julia Roberts as the evil queen offers.
The cast of Stewart's "Snow White" includes Charlize Theron as the evil queen, Chris Hemsworth as rugged hunter and Sam Claflin as Prince.
The film begins shooting in a few weeks. Director Rupert Sanders showed photos of the stars in costume, including Stewart in her battle outfit and Theron in an elegant black dress with a brutal and sharp high collar.

"She's a serial killer," said Theron. "I'm pretty much prepared to play a serial killer."
Sanders has also shown a photo of the dwarfs, Snow White in this version of the accompanying, all stand in a row scruffier us as a band in a police lineup. The actor playing Ian McShane also, Bob Hoskins, Ray Winstone, Nick Frost and Toby Jones.
There are eight instead of the usual seven dwarfs. Sanders said: "There are eight, because there are a few great lines, if one is killed by them."
