Anwar, whose opposition pact captured 82 seats in 2008, said Datuk Seri Najib Razak he expected soon to hold elections before the government's mandate expires in mid-2013th


The Prime Minister is expected to seek a new mandate in the course of the year, as his administration takes credit for economic recovery, it says, is due to the economic transformation programs enacted after Najib took office in April 2009.
