10 arrested for 'greeting' PM in yellow at KL Sentral - Ten people, including a consultant Ampang MP and PKR Youth leader, were at the KL Sentral this afternoon arrested for wearing yellow and try to hand over a memorandum on the Bersih demands to Prime Minister Najib 2.0 Abdul Razak.

Mohd Kamal Fareez Intidzam, the adviser to the Zuraida Kamaruddin was arrested by a group of police officers before the arrival of Najib.

"Ironically, one of us was wearing a Malaysian jersey and I wore the 'Patriot' color red, and we were arrested," said Malaysiakini Fareez.

The 10 have taken the Travers police station.

Besides Fareez PKR Youth deputy chief information was Azem Rozan Mat Rasip also among those arrested.

Najib and several ministers were on the Express Rail Link, position, at the Putrajaya to KL Sentral by Jalur Gemilang flags in the run-up to the national celebrations of 31st August distribute.

"Unlawful inappropriate '

In direct response to the incident, a lawyer and vice president of PKR N Surendran, which condemned at the Travers police station with a client in another case, the arrests are happening.

"This is a completely inappropriate and unlawful arrest, which is nothing but harassment of political party members and activists.

"One would think that in a democracy the citizens wear yellow at KL Sentral."

Surendran (right), demanded that the police provide an immediate explanation.

"We demand the immediate release of all arrested 10 and an explanation of the Inspector General of Police Ismail Omar, and actions against the police that those arrests are ordered removed," he said.
